CONCEPT : Following a ship wreck off of the south coast near Dorset in January 2008, more than 2000 tonnes of timber cargo was shed into the sea. Over time this started washing up on beaches all over the south coast…….. what followed were some of the most striking and organic formations. Our intention is to recreate some of the movement & organic natural forms whilst acknowledging the memory of this truly spectacular event. This conceptual approach has led to the design of the external cladding on this retail box in Hove. It is now a much softer more inviting design, one with a story to tell.
