In an attempt to fully experience the true nature of concrete’s fluid plasticity STAC decided to use a low-tech method to shutter and form a curved bar front.

Using a thick plastic sheet we were able to create a texture that begs to be touched, appears to be soft to the touch & defies the hard, cold look one normally expects from a concrete surface.

With the use of low level lighting the bar also appears to ‘float’ and has a weightless quality in juxtaposition to the general perception of mass concrete.
