One of the first projects undertaken by STAC some years ago – we were called by the client who wanted a contemporary kitchen extension to their property in East Dulwich on a tight budget which needed to be completed in record time due to the birth of their first child.

We provided initial advice and sketches showing the potential that could be achieved by the infilling the side return of the existing kitchen, a small garden negated the possibility of extending further however by providing an open-plan layout to the space the client was able to achieve their objective of a kitchen/ dining area with a family area for the TV and sofas. Contemporary glazing was mixed with a cost effective kitchen solution so bring the project in on budget.

A local contractor was sought through competitive tender and the build went smoothly and together with a full decoration programme throughout, the property was completed in time for the clients first child.
