STAC worked together with a well known developer to design and construct an A3 shell on a retail park in Edinburgh.  In an attempt to distinguish the unit from the rest of the retail park STAC proposed to develop a large artwork wall that could be appreciated from great distances across the park.

Our concept was to create an artwork that when up close read like an external tiled wall, however from across the park it would come into focus and reveal a large artwork wall.

STAC worked closely with CasaCeramica to design and manufacture a range of hand made, glazed terracotta tiles that when assembled would reveal an image.

STAC are firm believers that every development or new building should respond to and give back something to the public realm of which it is a part.  From artwork to street furniture we make every attempt to integrate the building with its surroundings and give something back to the community of which it is a part.
